Home workouts – are a great way of staying in shape and they also save you time and money.
Exercising from home requires a lot more motivation than going to the gym. The environment that you are trying to exercise in has been designed for relaxing in, its comfy, warm and everything is just an arms length away especially the chocolate hidden from the kids.
If you plan on working out from home and want to achieve the best possible results, you need to spend a little time getting ‘in the zone’. Whether it’s turning the TV off and blasting out spice girls or popping on a fitness DVD – whatever gets you going, make sure you do that and not the pile of dishes that are ever growing. Don’t get distracted by household chores that will probably needs doing again later anyway.
I find it helpful creating a fitness space when working out from home, moving a few bits of furniture around giving Fred and I plenty of room to swings some weights around and bust some moves.
If you do struggle with motivation then don’t do it alone, get in touch for a free consultation and we can sit down, talk about what you want to achieve and then actually start trying to reach that goal together.
