Engage your core - Your core isn’t just your abdominals, it consists of all of the muscles in your midsection, including your pelvic floor, neck, back of the neck, glutes, back, obliques, hips, shoulders and booty.
So when your trainer shouts ‘you are pathetic engage your core’ 😉!! Remember it’s not just your abs, think about your posture. The position of your shoulders affects the position of your ribs, the position of your ribs affects the position of your pelvis. It is all connected, maintaining correct alignment will help you engage those abdominals.
