Always stretch - flexibility training is an essential health related component of fitness, but it is so overlooked. One of the reasons I don’t skip a stretch is because it can actually enhance your performance, giving you that boost for a better workout.

Stretching on a regular basis will not only improve your level of flexibility but improve the overall function of your muscles. This is done by ensuring that the body can withstand and respond to the stresses of various types of movement and activities, resulting in reduced pain and stiffness.
